in depth... the brief for this project was to provide a flexible working environment for a global recruitment company, the new office was to reflect the progressive nature of the firm and aid in staff retention and productivity by providing space that staff wanted to work in.
the solution was to provide breakout areas within the typical desking arrangements, allowing staff to work in a more relaxed atmosphere and away from their desks. the focal point of the layout is a cafe style breakout space at the centre of the building, which provides the opportunity for staff to interact with each other. a similar, smaller space is provided within the candidate area which allows interviews to be conducted in a relaxed manner.
